Le bar à côté semblait beaucoup plus rock n roll. après, la terrasse est sympa et l'endroit plutôt calme et loin de la folie ambiante de la vieille ville en mode boite de nuit à l'air libre.

Music is a bit hi... read more Found this rock bar whilst walking around old town. Great selection of drinks, and the bar staff will make any drink to suit. Prices are good. Music is a bit hit and miss, not a true rock bar in my opinion. Specialist 60ml shot cocktails looked good but was wary of trying one as I needed the use of my legs the next day.

It's a pretty chill environment, despite the somewhat aggressive name, and the music was mostly indie with some hard rock, so nothing devisive there either. Staff were helpful, especially in taking our empty pint glasses, of which there were a lot. Drinks were pretty good value too, running about 5 pounds or 7 dollars for a round of 5. Place also seems popular with a foreign crowd, several other brits filtering in at various points.

There is a huge dog that keeps guard at the front door sometimes. This place is on the corner before you reach a stretch of bars like Half Time (football bar) so if you like something alternative, I suggest popping in here before moving onto the rest of the old town bars.
