From the upper terrace you have a beautiful view over the Schermützelsee. Friendly staff takes care of the guests lovingly and attentively. Toilets are clean, but also a little too tight. We ate in the restaurant and were disappointed. There were no spices at any meal. Not pepper, salt or even herbs. The mushrooms are in a thick cream sauce. Asparagus was cooked in water sweet and tasteless. Fish just as fade. Too bad. After a one-hour cruise we want to devote ourselves to the sweet delights in the restaurant and order a cup and a coffee. The cup of coffee tastes good, but the pot is a filter coffee well thought for ice coffee and goes back. Why a difference is made... I don't know. There are only 3 stars for the moderate performance of the cook/cook.

The house makes a very pleasant impression from the outside. The beer garden is probably the most beautiful we saw. It is terrible and literally invites you to stay. Since we arrived in the dark, unfortunately we could not enjoy the flair anymore. Should we be back in the gEgend, we will definitely visit this restaurant again, hopefully then at the sun in the afternoon the beer garden. Operation The service (one man) was attentive and friendly, but for our taste somewhat hold back (friendly removed). Despite everything, we were served very quickly and satisfactorily. Another service (woman) has responded very kindly to a conversation I started and - since almost nobody was there when you walked - also briefly tells about the house. The food We had peasant carvings (8,90) and steak spices (9,20), which both well prepared and beautifully dressed and also tasted. For such a great house we missed the peep. For example, when we went before eating, a great elder soup fell into us, which could be offered as the berries wander unnoticed to the bushes in the forest. We wish the cook some creative ideas, then the restaurant is hardly torn. The ambience The restaurant consists of several rooms and a beautiful hall. The rooms are best presented as a black and white salon, as tables and seats (big, well-padded leather chairs) have been adapted. There are beautiful paintings on the walls. On the tables there was a central ceiling which was replaced by another set immediately after cleaning and cleaning the table. A candle and a small bouquet also contributed to the feel-good atmosphere. Also the candles placed on the window benches served not only the decoration, but the candles were all illuminated. Here you can relax and enjoy a warm atmosphere. Cleanliness Immediately after leaving the guests, the tables were used completely cleaned, wet-heated and freshly recovered (with a new ceiling). The toilets also corresponded to this cleanliness. Here one thought of female emergencies and provides articles for female hygiene.
