To my disappointment when... read more I was really excited to try the samsara experience tasting menu, which consists of 6/7 dishes and optional paired wine and cocktails. To my disappointment when we arrived at the restaurant they told us the experience was only available before November, although it was on the menu and not advertised anywhere online it wasn’t on. We continued to pick some dishes from the menu anyway, but found the food average, quite plain and not very exciting. They also had one cocktail available on the list of amazing sounding cocktails which I was also disappointed by as I was excited to try them. Overall and average experience

I confess I had higher expectations of this place. This is because I love Samsara in Cluj and the bar has been set high by them. In Bucharest, the restaurant is... read more I confess I had higher expectations of this place. This is because I love Samsara in Cluj and the bar has been set high by them. In Bucharest, the restaurant is located in some horrible office building that has been built next to a lake, in an area where such constructions should not have been allowed (every other building is P 2-3-4). Then, I was a bit disappointed to find that the pleurotus soup was not vegan and they have more vegetarian options than vegan ones. But I enjoyed what I ordered, some miso soup and sushi. The staff is excellent, though.
