What User doesn't like about High Life Bistro:
After waiting for 15 minutes to take order, waitress yelled at us that her colleague will come soon. Her colleague took order and said we were the ones who shouted. (we were just waving our hands to be sure that we are seen). I have found a string in my "ciorba".This is pretty much my lunch "high life" experience for today. Could be easily a good movie scenario for Emir Kusturica. View all feedback.
Was there for a few drinks today. The staff was very friendly and professional. We sat immediately and after the order it was delivered almost immediately. Very clean inside as well as wit clean facilities. Great place with decent prices. Would definitely recommend.
I had a salmon salad. The salmon was cooked at least 2 days before. Really bad taste. I asked for a financial input to make an effort. They said they didn't know how to put it. Never again.
I've patronized this restaurant multiple times as they have good food with decent prices. I have had good experiences with them before. With the exception of my visit today with a exceptionally rude waitress with short curly hair. When we asked for English menu she...outright lied and said there wasn't one(there was), threw the romanian menu on the table and walked away. She came back within a couple of minutes expecting us to magically understand the romanian menu and to decide what we wanted. We said we weren't ready to order and she rolled her eyes at us like we post such a big inconvenience to her for patronizing their restuarant. Such a horrible dining experience.
The waiter was extremly rude and impolite.He rushed us indirectly the whole meal, when we asked to change the table because of the cold, the lady from the door started to shout at us and it’s a shame because the place, food and atmosphere are...really nice.
Granted we showed up during a busy lunch hour and asked for a table for five, I didn't see this as provocation for the manager to begin vebally chastising the waitress who sat us at a table just after he told us it would be a 10 minute wait for a table. We dutifully sat at our table for about 10 minutes before pressing a button on the table to ask for a menu. I did hear a buzzer go off and see someone acknowledge we needed menues but they never arrived. After another 5 to 10 minutes, I attempted to flag down a waitress and was abruptly shushed!At this point, I told my family I could take no more of this rude behaviour. We got up and walked out. What horrible customer service.
