Speaks excellent English and well traveled. Has a regular foreign client base. Should definitely take the time to visit. Duck was perfection and pleasantly surprised that he was serving Eton Mess which was great.

By chance, I came across this lovely restaur... read more A Hidden Gem in Bucharest This was my first proper visit to Bucharest, and I stayed near the Dristor metro station. By chance, I came across this lovely restaurant and what a pleasant surprise it was! I didn’t get to sample everything on the menu, but the meat salad I ordered was a true work of art both in presentation and taste. The excellent local draft beer paired beautifully with the dish. One of the restaurant’s owners even came over for a chat, and we had a genuinely enjoyable conversation. I learned that they use only high quality organic ingredients, which was clearly reflected in the flavours of the food. It’s no wonder Erra Restaurant has such glowing reviews. It’s definitely a place I would return to and highly recommend to anyone visiting Bucharest. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
