Feedback
Was Juliette Smeets at Asteria a mag?
Good delicious food, quite pricy, not great menu, friendly staff, not so well trained. I appreciated the fact that the products tasted Greek to me, authentic Greek taste. Very cold on the ground floor, Greek life music, although of non-Greeks. View all feedback.
What Nechifor Simionescu dislikes about Asteria:
Nice restaurant, nice food, nice staff, nice location. But nothing special to explain the high prices. You need to pay more than 20 euros for octopus and more for fish. Its option for the rich make neighborhood, not for those living in the city center. View all feedback.

Not too many things to remember. Far enough from the city centre to not go worth it. A lot of fish and Frutti di Mare usually cooked Italian style. Average aroma. Good lamb, but that in New Zeeland. Significant differences between what is in the pictures and what is in the record. I don't expect a long life. Costs according to local standards. Generally in Bucharest it is better to go to the Romanian traditional restaurants where you will discover the very sophistic Romanian / Byzantine cousin Turkish for a fraction of the cost
The restaurant does not impress with atmosphere, but the food is very, very good and the service is the core piece. You should try the fish barbun, scorpio) and the octopus. The stifado is also beautiful.
I've been here two times now and the food is very good, the ambiance is great, with traditional Greek music (live on Fridays) and the service is impeccable. The restaurant has two levels. The ground floor is more like a taverna, but I prefer the first floor, where it's elegant, but still keeps the Greek ambiance and also this is the place where the band plays on Fridays. I tried the moussaka, bougiourdi, tzatziki (of course) and papoutsakia. We were also served with a complimentary dish of mussels. The food was delicious. The house white wine is very good. I noticed they have special chairs for children (that is something I rarely see in Bucharest) and I also heard they have a special play room for children, but I haven't seen it. The prices are average, not too expensive, but not cheep either. There is a parking space that fits about 8-10 cars tops in front of the restaurant.
