I did not experience the same issues as referenced by other reviewers. Had a very nice experience here and loved eating the vegan dessert while my daughter played on the play ground and my dog sniffed around the river. Went home with a few choice pieces of produce as well. Easy stop when in Bryson and also nice at other times of the year, such as pumpkin season. View all feedback.

Went to Darnell Farms after reading the positive review on HappyCow and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The dole whip is extremely sweet and I wouldn’t recommend you watch the staff prepare it…after a long hot day outside they’re all sweaty and tired, and have no issue making your food while their sweat drips off of them into the dole whip mixture…on top of that, fruit and vegetables sat decaying off to the side covered in hundreds of fruit flies, regular flies, and bees. That being said, they did have some beautiful vegetables and fruit to buy, and lots of homemade canned jams, pickled veggies, and bags of fresh corn. Due to Covid, it all felt cramped and uncomfortable. If you don’t care about that stuff, then try it out.
Was able to find some local produce like tomatoes and a variety of local grown apples. Menu of “dream whip” desserts that feature DF/GL marked on a large chalkboard menu. Local baked bread and jams. Strawberry dream whip was good, had warm ciders and other choices as well.

I visited Darnell Farms after seeing a positive review on HappyCow, but I cannot recommend it to others. The dolly whip was overly sweet, and I found the cleanliness of the staff quite concerning. After a long, hot day, they seemed sweaty and fatigued, and I noticed that droplets of sweat could potentially mix with the food they were preparing. Additionally, the fruits and vegetables displayed on the side were swarmed with numerous fruit flies, regular flies, and bees. It's clear they have a great selection of fresh produce, homemade jams, pickled veggies, and fresh corn for sale. However, the overall experience felt uncomfortable and strained due to Covid-19 precautions. If you’re not overly concerned about these issues, you might want to give it a try.

After a long, hot day outside, the staff seemed sweaty and tired, and I couldn't shake the feeling that their sweat was possibly dripping into the Dole Whip mix as they made it. Additionally, the area where they served sweet treats was swarming with numerous flies and bees. While they do offer some delightful homemade canned jams, pickled vegetables, and bags of fresh corn, the overall experience was marred by discomfort, especially given the lingering effects of COVID. If you’re not bothered by these issues, it might be worth a visit, but I personally wouldn’t go back.
