Fat Shack - Bryan
Fat Shack
Description
This college-town spot serves inventive comfort food — bold burgers, Philly cheesesteaks, standout wings and deep-fried desserts — with a friendly, kid-welcoming staff and a lively, casual vibe. Diners praise flavor, portions and convenient parking, but service can be inconsistent during understaffed periods and a few guests reported undercooked items. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible though it lacks an automatic door opener. Expect a fun, hearty experience that’s sometimes uneven in execution.

The worker was very nice, very quick, brought the food to me and let me know he put in all the sauces and napkins for me. The food was great. Fries were crunchy with great flavor and the fried pickles. Everything came out hot and fresh. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Fat shack, normally I absolutely love this place. Tonight was the worst experience me and my family have had. We walked into to tables covered in nast. (Crumbs, ketchup, etc. Then we make the mistake of ordering first set was 10 wings, 5 bbq/ 5 buffalo, the person behind the counter had no idea how to do this. A sandwich with ranch. (Got it. Second sandwich no fries, add fried pickle. Food came, chicken was good. Last sandwich had fries on it, and a side charge for pickles. Plus me and my daughter were sticking to the floor of the restaurant. Beyond aggravated and disappointed. Meal type: Other Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Hits the spot for indulgent treats! Their chocolate shake is rich, creamy, and super chocolatey—perfectly thick and satisfying without being overly artificial. It's a great way to cool off after demolishing one of their massive fat sandwiches or wings. Definitely worth grabbing if you're craving something sweet and decadent! The staff is welcoming, and the food is wonderfully unique. While it can be somewhat expensive at times, the experience is definitely worth it. Every dish served here is outstanding.
Such a different spin on a burger menu and atmosphere. Great people working...tip from me? Ask for Kenneth or Adrian to make your order.Kid-friendliness: They love people especially kids. It's fun to see the ladies and guys interact with the kiddos. It's a college town, but Fat Shack is definitely committed to the house.Parking: It's a busy street but you'll find a spot in the parking lot where Fat Shack is located.Wheelchair accessibility: It's literally right there...
