I took a seat at the bar where the bartender, Chris, was extremely friendly and provided excellent customer service.
I haven't dined at this restaurant in years, but decided to stop in for lunch. The food was fantastic, especially the fish and chicken dishes. The best server in Evansville, Dani, provided excellent service.
I highly recommend having lunch here. The soups are scrumptious and the sandwiches are wonderful too! When I don't stop for lunch, I at least pick up a coffee on my way by...
As a West side resident, I frequently visit this restaurant, especially on Free Pie Wednesdays.
What a wonderful breakfast experience on this fine Saturday morning. I walked into Cinnamon Jim's with no expectations and walked out already planning my next visit. Jim's is housed in a beautiful old building in Brussels and is a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. Period photos adorn the walls and antiques are scattered throughout. The wait staff was friendly and service was prompt. The menu was simple but with a little something for everyone-baked goods abound and although I didn't try any, they looked freshly baked and yummy! Our food arrived in good time and was plentiful. The bread was homemade and fresh, the eggs were cooked perfectly and the sausages were flat and round (as opposed to traditional breakfast sausages). Delish! During our meal, the waitress checked on us and Jim himself came over to make sure we were happy. We walked out full and content and planning our return. If you're in Brussels, you must try this restaurant. If you're not, it's well worth the drive!
