It doesn't do food anymore but I'll give it a five anyway as it was nice when we ate there in 2019. One of the classic Brussels bars with ties to Magritte and several other artists, it suffered because of Covid (like so many places) and has only recently reopened as just a bar (but you can buy sandwiches next door and take them in). This used to be an authentic Brussels café; unfortunately the new owners don’t understand what Brussels really means, like zwanzen or not taking yourself too seriously. A new generation of cancel culture has done damage to what used to be my playground and with me so many native people born in Brussels. Wonderful and super cousy. Beers are also very tasty. Now they only serve food and snacks but it is still an amazing historical bar to be in Brussels.

read moreWe didn't do that many bars but this was recommend. I would also recommend it as the bext bar we went to.
