La Canne En Ville - Brussels

The dishes are very salty (unfortunately we eat salt before the dishes), and it’s a shame because the technique is la, but too salty (according to me, brewery dishes or beer is queen). Reservation for 19:00h , and surprise at 19:10h the door of the restaurant was blocked. Small phone call and 2 min after the door is open.For 1 Star Michelin, I find it a little disappointing. It has been a while I did have great surprises. 1 star by far deserved. Incredible sauces . Waiters were fun and approachable. Highly appreciated the langoustine , orange juice and cappucino of the breakfast, the salmon maki, la Noix de saint Jacques . The small weak point was the high price of the menu...I think around 150e would be more appropriate. Just amazing big clap for this authenticity with classic product making everything high level. I give five stars, because it was a great event at „La Canne en Ville“. Nevertheless, I was disappointed about the main course because I was the earliest guest, it seemed that I have got the first piece of the veal which was unfortunately full of fat/grease I have got two pieces of veal one was absolutely not Ok and I could not eat it because of fat/grease the other piece was with less fat/grease, but for me, I could swallow it only with closing eyes So, if I was a Michelin Star tester, I think, such an experience is not that what you expect for a Michelin Star restaurant sorry, that’s the truth! When I pay in sum over 300€ (with wine pairing), I expect to get a good piece of veal And I saw at the table near to me that they could serve such a piece of veal But unfortunately, sustainability is such a high word and they must provide such bad pieces of veal.. sorry, but they can it eat if they want I expect a piece of veal without this amount of fat/grease Nevertheless, this restaurant is amazing and I like it But sorry, don’t annoy me with this fat/grease piece of veal that’s not what I expect from such a one star Michelin restaurant.
