excellent ice cream and good service I was in some ice cream shops in my life, but this is something to remember. I was served in front of the place and by a really nice heart. the ice I chose (Chocolate-hazelnut) was really extraordinary. the wonderful taste of the chocolate that was broken by hazelnuts was really something I enjoyed. What an absolute disaster of an establishment. The attitude of the staff was diabolic. The hygiene was horrific (flipping crepes with bare fingers after casually wiping one 's forehead sweat line. The state of the tables we ate from were beyond filthy. They bring your food out and make ypu pay before you 've lifted your cutlery. That picture posted is the exotic smoothie. As an American, I can say that this really should not be so fantastic since Haagen-Dazs was an American company. No way USA c-h-o-c-o-l-a-t-e should be anywhere near as divinely wonderful as Belgian chocolate. But it is here. Twice now, I have ordered the Belgian chocolate ice cream with whipped cream and hot fudge. The picture I took is what you get. This has been my most intense chocolate pleasure in Brussels, tied with the drinking chocolate I found at Wittamer Chocolatier on Place du Grand Sablon.
The location is absolutely amazing and taste of Hagen Dazs ice cream is beyond judgement. The only drawback was the service was really slow and only a few servers compared to the huge customer waiting. The price was also pretty high. But if you want to enjoy classic ice cream desserts in a fabulous location, then it is a place to be.
When we arrived in the afternoon many stuff were out of stock. Deserts good with many ingredients. But it took long time for them to prepare
Ice cream is probably good, but the service is terrible. None of three waitresses bothers to go to the upper floor and when you finally try to order yourself at the counter, it is refused because you have to order at the table! Wasted half an hour and left with nothing. Not coming back
The ice creams were great; however, staff is not very proactive. They charge you extra for eating in.
