Was Carlos Dillon at Brown's Cafe a mag?
I will undoubtedly be returning to this classic hidden gem for fried chicken, not just because the chicken is fantastic, but I'm also eager to sample the sides. The only drawback was waiting 30 minutes for my order, but I appreciate that it was made fresh and still piping hot when I got home after an hour-long drive to Denham Springs. Brown's cafe is pillow in eatery in community their an serving others I love going their because it reminds of the joint that up to Road from my grandmother's house we could go in there as children get us a little piece of candy watched some of the community guys play pool no one bothered the children everybody was happy laughing and talkin brown's remind me of the old days when we was younger you know a comfort zone that you can go to and you can relax and feel love that's what I love about Brown's Cafe it was established in 1951 in the name speaks for itself it's a good place to go eat you know due to the Covid restrictions you can't go in but you can go in their order your food but still it's a very very good place to grab hot homemade meal...
The best fried shrimp, fish AND chicken on this side the river!! You can eat there or take it to go. The vibe inside be so cool, it makes you want to stay and eat tho.
