Was Carlos Dillon at Brown's Cafe a mag?
I will undoubtedly be returning to this classic hidden gem for fried chicken, not just because the chicken is fantastic, but I'm also eager to sample the sides. The only drawback was waiting 30 minutes for my order, but I appreciate that it was made fresh and still piping hot when I got home after an hour-long drive to Denham Springs. The best fried shrimp, fish AND chicken on this side the river!! You can eat there or take it to go. The vibe inside be so cool, it makes you want to stay and eat tho.
