I absolutely love toasties, and the ones at Kines never disappoint. Their vegan cheeses are amazing. The atmosphere is also great with its mix of retro furniture. When the lighting is perfect, you get some amazing reflections and shadows on the back wall. Despite being a large open space, it doesn't get too noisy or echoey.
I really enjoyed the vegan Spicy Kimchi toastie at this restaurant! The atmosphere was great and I loved the music they had playing.
Kines offers a delightful selection of vegan toasties. The mushroom toastie features a creamy cashew cheese, delectable mushrooms, crunchy hazelnut pieces, all enclosed in crispy buttery bread. Pair it with an iced soy matcha for a satisfying vegan meal.
24/9/2021 I’ve revisited a few times now. The porridge with rhubarb is one of the nicest porridge’s I’ve had. Their coffee is great and they are lovely Most items can be made vegan. I’ve been here several times now to both have take away and eat in. There are a few tables available and it is outside but it can fill up quickly. I often have the mushroom toastie. The vegan cheese is delicious and I love that the sandwich is huge. Their coffee is also really nice. Updated from previous review on 2021-05-02
