This cafe is a neighbourhood gem. Nice and cosy. The toasties were delicious! We also had The Brunswick . Good portion and the food wasn 't salty like some other establishments. The proprietors were friendly and welcoming! Other interesting aspect is that they had painitngs hanging on the wall in collaboration with an artist! Definitely a must visit especially to support local!

The small cafe is decent with a limited menu that focuses mainly on sandwiches and toasties. The toasties are good, although not exceptional. The mushroom toastie was the standout, while the chicken and avocado toastie was a letdown due to excessive cheese and minimal chicken. The coffee was the highlight of the meal. In general, the toasties were tasty and satisfying, but could benefit from reducing the amount of cheese to improve the flavors.

The staff seemed surprised when I mentioned I had a reservation and I had to seat myself while they were busy behind the counter. I had to ask for a menu and then go up to the counter to place my order since no one came to take it. Despite there being only 6 people in the cafe, the service was slow. I wasn't very hungry so I just ordered a cheese and mushroom toastie, which was okay.
