Nice kitchen for lovers of fish. The cable was a pearl. The wine choice is mostly creative, and it's very well delivered by the sommelier of service. The service isn't exactly connected to the bid quality, and that's too bad.
Very nice restaurant. Less assortment, but the quality of the served dishes makes this bold. Correct service, charming inside, honest prize. Traitor.

We had dinner at « Couvert » last evening and we had such a lovely time. The food was fabulous: the scallop carpaccio was flavorful, the perfect combination with the dill, peppercorns, and the sauce, equally appealing for the eyes. Then came the sweetbreads; the portion size was perfect when you arrive with an appetite after a day of walking through Brugge. The sauce I insisted that my family at the table try it — it was delicious. My husband is a chef, so we do look for the hidden gems when traveling. Upon our return to Brugge, « Couvert » will definitely be on the top of my list. Wishing the owners all the success in the world, because their passion is transmitted through their food and the attentive service, from the moment of making the reservation to the kind smile when leaving the restaurant. Reservation needed as the restaurant is on the smaller side — enjoy the food and the kind service! PS: The filet mignon came with herbed butter you can find it nestled under the mixed greens and french fries were served on the side as well.
