For starters, we tried the poached asparagus with egg and hollandaise, and the grilled chicken served with spring green fattoush, as well as soft shell crab. For mains, we had a pan-roasted lamb served with new potatoes, peas à la francaise, and lamb jus, a chicken pot pie with sautéed potatoes and creamed cabbage, and a salmon fillet accompanied by asparagus, tomatoes, new potatoes, and a creamy white wine sauce. For dessert, we enjoyed a chocolate mousse paired with white chocolate macarons, a choux pastry ring filled with fresh cream and seasonal fruit, and a lemon surprise, which is a lemon sponge served hot with a lemon sauce and vanilla ice cream. They host these special menu evenings regularly, and I highly recommend them. **Service:** Dine-in **Meal Type:** Dinner **Price per person:** £20–30 **Food Rating:** 5/5 **Service Rating:** 3/5 **Atmosphere Rating:** 5/5
