After an intense game of badminton, we made our way to the Shuhag restaurant. Customer service was really impressive, the food delicious and the place was comfortable. The only let down for us was it was cold and we had to keep our coats on. We were informed it's a listed building and they had not wanted to alter anything. View all feedback.

read moreShuhag restaurant in Waltham Abbey is a hidden gem offering fantastic Indian cuisine in a historic grade 2 listed building. Customer service is friendly and the food is delicious, with options like the best Dupiaza around and a great value banquet night on Mondays. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for special occasions or a casual dinner out. While the building's preservation means it can get chilly inside, the overall experience at Shuhag makes it a must-visit spot in Essex.
