Went for breakfast with some friends. Ordered a set breakfast with a change which was accommodated with no issues. Food was cooked well and place was very clean. Only reason not a 5 star was because I ordered an ice coffee and was still charged for it, even though the set breakfast came with free coffee, but not iced apparently. View all feedback.
What Jacob Griffiths doesn't like about Cherries Cafe:
I made a quick stop at a café with my son on Thursday after a trip to the bank. My son wanted a hot chocolate, so we decided to grab a bite to eat as well. We enjoyed a sunny day while savoring a mozzarella, sun-dried tomato, and pesto panini, as well as a cup of coffee for me. My son had an omelette and his desired hot chocolate. The panini came with a fresh green salad and homemade coleslaw, while the omelette was... View all feedback.
I have always enjoyed dining at this cafe, but unfortunately, during our last visit, there was an accident where hot tea was spilled on my mother's hand, legs, and t-shirt. Despite the discomfort she was in, she did not complain and went on with our plans to go shopping. However, when we went to pay, we only received a simple apology and no offer of a discount or a complimentary meal to make up for the incident. This lack of response has left a bad impression, and we will not be returning to this cafe in the future.
My friend and I visited this fantastic restaurant after our volunteering shift. We had to take two buses from Southgate because we wanted to do some shopping. We both ordered jacket potatoes with a side salad, which were included in the reasonable price. The meal was very nice and we enjoyed our experience.
I stumbled upon this charming café without knowing where to go, but I was pleasantly surprised by its classy decor. The vegetarian breakfast I ordered was not only delicious, but made with high-quality ingredients. The latte I ordered was also perfect. What stood out even more than the food was the amazingly friendly staff.
Just a trip to the bank on thursday and my son decided he wanted a hot chocolate. Stopped in this cafe .due to covid it was outdoor dining only but we had a sunny day. I Had a mozzarella, sun dried tomato and pesto panini and coffee , my son had an omelette and his hot chocolate. Food was amazing. Pinini came with a fresh green salad and homemade coleslaw and omelette came with chips and salad. My son is autistic and very fussy but ate every last mouthful. Big thank you to the staff who were very friendly and checked on numerous occasions if we ok and needed more drinks . Would definitely recommend. Probably the best cafe in the cross ...and I've tried them all.
Firstly I would like to commend the staff especially the man who always takes the orders; he always has such a warm and welcoming approach. The food is quality and always fresh. Would highly recommend
