It was until we got inside, and were told that although there... read more Never been to Brownsville and saw this place on the news so thought this might be a great excuse. It was until we got inside, and were told that although there were plenty of tables the wait for food would be over an hour! I take this as new-restaurant problems/pandemic staffing. The restaurant was very Americana inside and has lots of family appeal. We got there at 11:15 am and there were only 3 tables sat and two people at the counter. With lots more to accommodate. The people behind us heard the host tell us this and they bailed too. Hopefully they’ll get it together. It looks really nice.

Even though... read more I wish I had more photos, but this place had the best medium rare steak I have ever had. It was so delicious that I wanted to lick the plate clean. Even though it's an hour drive from my house, I would still make the trip because the food was just that amazing.
