The Maple Kitchen - Brownsville

We live just down the road from The Maple Kitchen, and sometimes forget about it and shouldn't. It's a very nice spot, quiet, convenient. Katie who was the bartender was also our server, very nice. The restaurant wasn't very busy that night, which is fine with us. It was a very enjoyable evening.

Overall restaurant was good, a bit on the high end of price. Family of four, two kids and parents for $125 is more than I wanted. It's nice that there is a restaurant on site, especially because the resort is so rural. However, the food was good and flavourful. Portions were perfect. If the menu was more descriptive we would have known that the ribeye comes covered in a pepper cream sauce, it wasn't unpleasant, just unexpected due to the menu's small descriptions.

We had the best salmon and ribeye EVER here. The chef came out to the table and gave us such a personal experience. Getting the salmon and ribeye is a MUST to top it off you need to get the chocolate bomb dessert. Do not sleep on this place the food is amazing.

Menu was limited but what we ordered was delicious. The chef came out from the kitchen and personally spoke to every customer in the restaurant. The manager came by to see if we had everything we need. The bartender came by to make sure my cocktail was to my liking. Best dessert ever!!
