Geko's Trattoria Italiana - Brownsville

This is undoubtedly one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever visited. The chef and his son have spent the majority of their lives in Italy, and their passion for food truly shines through in the menu. The restaurant is set up in a family-style dining layout, encouraging sharing at any table. The upbeat music and lively atmosphere, along with attentive servers eager to answer my questions, enhanced the overall experience. I highly recommend trying the pizza and tiramisu on every visit—you won’t be disappointed!

I absolutely love this restaurant! I've consistently received excellent service, and the food is outstanding. The ambiance, enhanced by the decor and layout, offers a wonderful aesthetic experience. It’s a perfect spot for a date or a family outing!

This restaurant serves authentic traditional Italian food that is so good, it had a table full of Italians eager to return! The dishes are bursting with flavors that offer a refreshing break from the Americanized Italian chains nearby. The service was excellent, with a friendly and knowledgeable staff member who was a pleasure to be around. The view from the deck during sunset is simply stunning! The chef is genuinely Italian, and the high-quality ingredients used are impressive. It’s surprising that this gem isn’t more widely marketed throughout the valley. The unique menu caught us off guard, as we hadn’t heard of it before. While you can see the restaurant from the highway, we might not have considered stopping if not for our desire to dine overlooking the pond at our previous location. In all honesty, we are thrilled to have discovered this place. The warmth of a local restaurant experience is hard to beat, and we hope to see Geko thriving for years to come!

This place is ridiculously good! I took the Carbonara, the Brisket filled Ravioli and the Arrachera alla griglia. I'll be back soon!
