A hidden jewel is South Brownsville. For decades in Barrio, right over my high school. You haven't changed all these years. Best order before you get there. Good food and fast service , the parking spaces are very small not fit for a truck, it be better if the parking spaces would face the taco stand instead of sideways would be a lot easier to park get out. View all feedback.
The food is great and the service is quick. However, the parking spaces are quite small and not suitable for trucks. It would be much better if the parking spaces were oriented towards the taco stand instead of sideways, as that would make parking and getting out a lot easier.

The taco stand is a beloved gem from the past, reminiscent of what it used to be many years ago.
The food is good but service is not that great. I called more than 5 times to order ahead and no answer. The automated machine said to order at the windows and they don't accept orders on the phone, yet your Facebook page says otherwise. Took 20 minutes to get my order, which is not that bad but for just some tacos it should be less. They are good decent tacos de desabrada, but the wait, the price, parking, and eating area, needs to improve.
If you're looking for a quick greasy tacos that taste great, then this is the place for you. A whole in the wall with a short menu and very affordable prices. Tacos de carne desebrada are served here and are accompanied with jalapeños, ask for their green salsa (sold separately) add salt and dig in. Established 30 years ago and still serves the immediate community, parking is mostly on the street, no indoor seating and it's CASH ONLY. Don't mind the angry guy at the window it's part of the experience, he yells because he has to, one of those things you have to see it to understand it.
