Can never go wrong at a Dirty Al's location if you are a sea food lover. The location is great right off the highway and ample parking. The restaurant has a waiting area by the hostesses stand and a bar with plenty of seating. You can have your meal at the bar. The food came out hot temperatures and delicious. What Kerry Mann doesn't like about Dirty Al's Seafood Market Cajun Kitchen:
So, this place has some things right. But it also has things wrong. I ordered the Mardi Gras Basket. Fish, shrimp, oysters, and fries: 17.25. Looked like a great way to sample what they have. I can say it was Super fast! And it was super fresh, so hot I had to wait for a while to eat it. The shrimp was perfect! The fish was not very good. The staff was excellent and very helpful. It had been a long time since I had returned to the RGV and was surprised to see Dirty Al's in Brownsville. Since this trip did not allow time for the island it was so great to have my favorite island place without the drive. Will definitely return to this location along with the one in McAllen and of course the original at South Padre.
Tried the Shrimp Etouffee and it was really good for being so far from Louisiana, will definitely be back for more ???? ????
Good as always. One of my favorite places to eat besides there sister, brother Daddy's at the island. But back to what I ate got me the Freddie's broil my favorite and the a pound of the Cajun shrimp and the platter of 20 fried shrimp and fish yummy and ceviche which I hadn't tried it from there and it was the bomb ???? strongly recommend it well everything and the Mexican cocktail my daughter got but I took a bit from her. ????
We had a great experience here. The food was perfectly delicious. George our waiter was awesome. The only issue was, that it was , we chalked that up to inflation and shortages of work. Still a 5 star place

I can say it was Super fast! And it was super fresh, so hot I had to wait for a while to eat it. The shrimp was perfect! The fish was not very good. The oysters would have been awesome if they hadn't been the size of nickels, seriously the smallest oysters I've ever seen. The fries were just fries. BUT, the main issue here is: a Mountain of fries under the seafood to exaggerate the basket, 3 very small pieces of fish, 5 tiny oysters, and 3 perfect shrimp. I don't feel like I got my worth. Aside from that, when it came my bill was 25 and change. I had coke. The restaurant was clean, staff was alright.
