Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen - Brownsville

Good restaurant, very friendly and attentive staff. Quality of food was good. The Wisconsin Fried Cheese Curds, Bread and Chips and homemade Queso and Salsa never disappointed. I have to admit that the New Orleans Pasta sauce had no taste. The chicken and the sausage were perfectly seasoned. Lemon pepper chicken dish was spicy and had a hearty part.

The highlight of the visit last night was that they dropped our food. Server was very attentive. Although the restaurant was packed, people quickly got tables in a timely way. We have our croissants right off the stove. They were delicious!!! Then we got our appetizers, it was good as usual. Then the manager apologised because they dropped our food, but they already worked on it. Asked how we did it and whether we needed anything. Thanks to the appetizer we were all right. Then they brought our food, which was good and portion size was much bigger than usual. Here too the manager came to apologize again and asked how we did and informed that we would get a discount because of the incident. We didn't ask. Customer service was exceptional. These little details make a big difference and we will be back! We're people, we drop things. There's nothing wrong. Could happen to any of us.

The first visit was a takeover order. The food was packed very well, food also tasted great. The server works curbside made an amazing work with customer service, I didn't even sit for a minute before she came to help.

So grateful that the kitchen is back to a full menu. There is nothing like sitting in the bar and talking to Vero, which is simply the best person to talk to. It is great to recommend drinks and to have a conversation. Tonight I had the watermelon margarita and the chocolate martini I also had chips and salsa, but the star of the show was definitely the watermelon margarita! It came with a large ol’ piece of watermelon and oh my stars amazing.
