restaurant in the square of the 1030. beautiful scenery. all the dishes we chose were very good: cute net skewer, beef and chicken shawarma and coffee foam. points to be improved: our server did not appear in its element and the fries were frozen fries. View all feedback.
What Abel Casper doesn't like about Zyara:
Called Saturday around 6:00 to book a table for four at 9:30.Arrived at specified time to find the waiter seating us near the restrooms. I was ready to come back home. The food was nothing special and the service was ****. We waited half an hour to get our drinks, and the food was cold. We called the maitre d' but he was busy with a party of 20 persons so he left us unattended. He only came to get his tip from our ta... View all feedback.
What a magical place! this restaurant offers an exotic atmosphere. very clean and food is excellent. There are several options to share. a few nights a week a balladi dancer offers a colorful show.
Surprisingly improved food as compared to three years ago. They are pretty authentic and tasty as far as Lebanese food goes and it's way more upscale than a typical Lebanese joint. You can't go wrong with any item on the menu. We have thoroughly enjoyed everything. The staff is accommodating and polite. Just beware of the Saturday belly dancing - live performance!
Good Lebanese meal, nice presentation large outdoor terrace, good service, casual but chic dining experience to try, average price
Beautiful setting with a very large terrace. Very enjoyable outdoor dining on summer day or evening. Waiters are welcoming and take the time to explain when asked about meals. This is our 5th or 6th visit and this restaurant has so much gained in improvements since my first visit. As you sit down, they bring in a dip of thyme (zaatar) and oil as well as smoking hot freshly baked small size Arabic bread known here as pita bread. I know in advance what we love to eat: tabbouleh, hommos, baba ghannouge, bastourma (Armenian sliced dried meat) and my favourite, kibbeh nayye (pounded raw meet with cracked wheat, burghol.) The best I have eaten in Montreal. My companion who is Asian will share my cold dishes and will also order a hot meal. He loves their grilled kafta and kebab. He also loves their shrimps marinated in arak. A very enjoyable lunch or dinner in the Quartier 10/30 in Brossard. I will go there whenever we want to have great Lebanese food.
Surpassed expectations - again. Not my first time at Zyara and it was a hit again. Belly Dancers, tasters menu with seconds - all was awesome
