Restaurant General Tao - Brossard

This is a Chinese food restaurant at its most basic. No effort made on decor and the food, while plentiful in terms of portion size, is mediocre at best. We had the tom yum shrimp soup (good flavor, but small portion size, with one, count 'em , one shrimp of small size). shrimps in lobster sauce and beef in garlic sauce. Sorry, i have had better, much better. The sauces were watery, the shrimps were tiny. I haven't been here in a while, and i thought i remembered it being better. The service, was quick and efficient, with someone almost continuously checking to make sure the water glasses were all filled.

We were 2 couples, arriving at 7hrs, super service, fast and polite. very generous serving, hot food. soup and spring roll excellent. general tao gross portion. quality price nothing has resay excellent...... to return definitively. Maybe a little bit of decoy, but good... they're having fun with food.

Service very courteous, super fast, almost not had time to wait for the between wonton soup to be served. She was excellent as well. There took general chicken tao. enorm portions, chicken ok, rice ok. can be more legumes but good. For $10 tx included, it's not a swing. not this is not the best tao general in the world (the more crunchy could have been better), but for $10, service and enter included, I have nothing to say and I would return it willingly. Don't go there for an atmosphere either, it's a little restaurant without pretense.

I'm a regular client at Delhi Kabab , just next door. Excellent Indian food. Today it was close and I didn't know, so I decided to try General Tao. We were 2 adults and 2 kids , we had 4 dishes and 4 spring rolls. The rolls were just cabbage and onions inside, and the dishes were 80% onions, 7% chicken and 13% green onions. I love ❤️ onions , but this was ridiculous .Also the waiter wasn't nice at all . We were the only table , and when we arrived he was playing with his phone . He give us the menu and he went back to the phone, water and back to the phone, our dishes and back........Not going back there, that's for sure

This restaurant was decent about 5 years ago and has significantly gone down in quality. Beef dishes are hardly that. Asked if they could omit onions in dishes I was ordering as a family member is highly allergic to them. Answer: NO.Cannot modify anything. Brought home beef dishes with perhaps 5 shaved pieces of beef not larger than a quarter. Very disappointing, not worth it. It isn't about prices.Save your money and try Golden Bowl. Best General Tao chicken ever and every dish is worth the money.
