There are only two vegan options available. I tried the non-spicy dish, and it was absolutely delicious—just perfect! However, be cautious if you visit on a Saturday afternoon, as you might have to wait outside for a table. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Ramen Isshin:
I always end up feeling unwell after eating her smoked dishes. The first time, I thought it might have been something else, but after the second experience, it was clear it wasn’t a coincidence. I only feel this sick when consuming animal-derived products, which makes me question the way they handle and prepare their vegetarian options. View all feedback.
We were there for dinner and ate outside, so didn't really go to the restaurant. everything was by phone. they scan a QR code by phone, then they could view the menu, order online and pay online. the waiter was there to check us from time to time, for water and recommended. the nudel soup was good, but vege appetisers only have the edamame vegan) and so something like deep roasted kartoffel I doubt it is vegan.) nudel portion was just good for single transmitters, neither too big nor small. we both drank the whole suppe. we had 2 bowls of nudel and an appetizer. the price was $45 before controlling and tapps.
Loved the tsukemen here, the broth came in bubbling. Isn’t overly thick and salty like a lot of other places. The shio ramen was creamy and it was fun to grind our own sesame seed toppings.Fried chicken was pretty good.No lineup on a Saturday lunch. Order payments by QR code. :
I had been craving ramen for a while and I was super excited to try ramen Isshin. Unfortunately, I left with a bad taste in my mouth. Literally. My ramen had a really weird aftertaste. It also only had 2 pieces of meat which is the least I’ve seen in any ramen. The eggs were cold tooMy husband’s dish was different, it was better but was very salty and the eggs were also cold.It was also quite expensive for what it was, especially for something we did not enjoy.I left half of my ramen. The chicken karaage was also very dry but on a more positive note the gyoza was great.
Definitely a taste of Japan! The price of the ramen is as exquisite as the taste. This shop serves you only the best and freshest ingredients. I would love to come back over and over.
I'm a traveler to Montreal and I found this ramen restaurant on Google Maps. We ordered Tsukemen, soup and noodles respectively. I live in Vancouver and I used to love this kind of tsukemen, but today, my experience was terrible, the soup was very salty, I politely asked the waiter, the waiter told me that this tsukemen was very salty, without any apology. He said that he needs to add non-salty soup, and he needs to pay another $9.99, I agree. He brought a small bowl of white soup. I poured it into a bowl and it was still very salty. When I got home at night, I drank a lot of water. I suspect that the soup base uses finished or powdered stock. I sincerely hope that the landlord can improve. This was the worst meal of my trip to Montreal.
