This small little sushi bar is quaint and cozy. The decor is okay, a little dated and a bit tacky but they try, and make up for it by the good food and service they provide. The salad is fantastic, seafood soup is good, tempura shrimp and veggies are great and sushis are big.Service is excellent. What User doesn't like about Okane Sushi Bar:
I used to thoroughly enjoy going to this place for good sushi, but this time it was disgusting. The fish tasted old and the tuna was not tuna. I think it's under new management who is trying to cut corners. The Kamikaze makis are literally just rice and fried tempura, not a piece of fish to be found. Incredibly disappointed and will never return. View all feedback.

The restaurant is pretty average in decor but the sushi is pretty good. The carry set sushi menu options as well and also dinner for 2/3/4 style Chinese and Sichuan set menus.
Restaurant enjoyed since 17 years. not for decoration but food and service. simplicity to its best! We stayed on the south shore and now remain in the estrie and sometimes come back even if we are far away. to discover if you love fresh sushi and with ease!

They haven't changed the decor, and it is getting a bit dated. But the food/sushi has always remained consistent and it is very good quality. Prices reasonable. They are trying to reinvent themselves with some new dishes - good. I would hate to see them go under.Friendly staff, consistent good quality.Hope they are a permanent fixture.Keep creating!
