What Willis Mraz doesn't like about Le Breakfast Club & Moulerie :
I use to go there a lot. for Dijonnaise mussels. they were the best. NOt anymore!Quality of this restaurant is at an all time low. The last 2 times I've been, it was not that good. but tonight. the Dijonnaise mussels were made with "hot dog" mustard. disgusting! (And I paid a dish I returned to the kitchen as they have a very short term view of customer service). Don't ask for mayo. they will serve you Miracle Whip.... View all feedback.
Tonight I am awaiting my third plate of mussels and I am already salivated. Yesterday I tried Moules provençales, today at noon, I tried Moules Marinara. Their salmon burger is perfection. The taste of grilled salmon melting in your mouth is sublime. I admit that I am one of those hypocritical individuals who claim loudly not to eat meat. The caveat is it depends on the meat as I dive into well-cooked fish, shrimps, scampi, and mussels. I am not a vegetarian nor am I a beef eater. Do I need to define myself by what I eat or am I more than the sum of all the eaten foods? Their chef makes excellent tasty meals. I never had three meals within 48 hours from the same restaurant. I plead to your epicurean soul to try the salmon and the mussels. The latter comes with nearly 10 different sauces to choose from.
I have been going to this restaurant for years and was really happy when it offered take-out during the virus pandemic. On May 23rd, 2020, a Saturday afternoon, I ordered by phone for pick up two pizza. When I got home, I saw that both pizza were as dried up as cardboard and like cardboard it could not be cut, it shredded. The prosciutto had been slapped on and looked old, I didn't touch it. Matter of fact I didn't touch that pizza. It cost $40.00 plus tip for old stale pizza with minimal garnish on the all dressed pizza. I was always a big patron of this establishment and hesitated before doing this review but in the spirit of fairness I had to write it. I'm not sure if I will ever go back even after they re-open for dining.
Ive been here several times and no wait to be seated, waitress shows up quickly with coffee and takes order. Food is better than most, authentic crepes, tasty and hot. Good coffee too. Had the chicken spinach and cheese crepe, good flavour! Will be back! Yum!
Food great Ambiance nice Service 10/10 Entertainment as TV sport shows premiere league's soccer. The breakfast is awesome. The pizza is done on real wooden pizza oven. Number of good choices of salads. Must visit place in Broussard
We ent there on a Saturday morning for breakfast with a friend. The good: Breakfast is actually good. Potatoes tastes great. Crispy crisp bacon actually comes crispy crisp. Lots of sitting spaces. Waitress was very friendly, and smiling. Breakfast arrived at our table SUPER fast. Coffee good and hot (does not taste like brown water). Huge ketchup packages. The bad: Parking is horrible and you might search for a spot for a while (since half the spaces are reserved for other shops). Entrance door is confusing (two doors, one locked, other badly marked). Jam package holder was half empty. Hostess at entrance door seemed annoyed (but later saw an employee or manager being mad at her in front of costumers). This place was surprisingly good. Surprisingly because my expectations were not high. The little bad things were there but the food was terrific. Definitely worth a try.
