Gateau Brise
Description
Nestled in the South Shore, this bakery has garnered mixed reviews while showcasing its delectable offerings. Customers praise the exquisite flavors and artistry of the baked goods, particularly the rich mango and strawberry cakes. Many appreciate the cleanliness and hygiene, highlighted by individually wrapped items. However, service inconsistencies and high prices have sparked disappointment among some patrons. While the quality is generally praised, with cakes that strike a perfect balance between sweetness and freshness, the lack of ingredient transparency raises concerns. Overall, this bakery remains a tantalizing destination for dessert enthusiasts who crave creativity and flavor.

Cute little place to get some pastries. Love that they individually wrap each items, more hygienic. The taste is good but they do not have a large selection but enough to satisfy your sweet tooth! The price is decent, not as low as before or compared to other places. Normal COVID price.
We were visiting from BC and wanted to get a little treats for my Dad at hospital near by, I never been there, being in Vancouver for over 25 yrs , my wife and I like a few Chinese bake goods as usually less sweet, this place is very good, and very well priced, many customers in and out, busy place, we are use to Chinese business and personally I think they are very nice and helpful. We are planning on going back.Coconut buns were really good and light, the mango cake was very appreciated by my Dad and the Tiramisu as well, we purchased a few more things but couldn't taste them all.Thank you for your good food!Martin
Some items don't have ingredients listed and the employees don't really seem to know what is used. Alot of their stuff is made with margarine and most likely preservatives. Just don't trust the quality. There are much better bakeries around.
