Casey's - Brossard
Casey's
Description
Located in the heart of DIX 30, Casey's offers a pleasant atmosphere with decent service and food that doesn't disappoint. The poutine may not be worth the price, but the pulled pork sliders and yam fries are a hit. Friendly servers, delicious wine, and refreshing cocktails make for a relaxing dining experience. While some dishes may not meet expectations, such as the fillet mignon, the veggie burger and Blanche de Chambly on tap stand out. Despite some minor hiccups with menu changes and underwhelming dishes, Casey's remains a solid choice for a satisfying meal and enjoyable time out.

The bartender Mary was the best bartender I've had, always there when you needed a drink or food. She went above and beyond her job responsibilities
I live 5 minutes from Dix30, so this area on the South Shore has many outdoor options for the summer! On a Sunday at 4 pm, there were limited choices available, as most rooftop bars only open from 5 pm onwards. I decided to go to Casey's, where I have enjoyed their cocktails before. It was a hot day, so I opted for a seat on the outdoor patio to soak up the sun in 32°C weather. Unfortunately, the menu had changed and they no longer had the artichoke dip that I usually order. I settled for a pint of Shock Top beer and a Caesar salad. The beer and salad arrived quickly, but the presentation of the salad was lacking; it looked like something I could have made at home. The taste was good, but I did notice some old pieces of lettuce that the chefs had missed. Despite these issues, the $25 meal was decent overall, but I may try other options next time.
Good restaurant, I tend to get the salmon plate, it would be nice if they didnt just give it with plain boring vegetables, there are diff unique ways to make simple dishes stick out compared to the other meat/salmon places I've been too
