Tristan is an absolute delight to have as a server. This was our 3rd trip to eat here and its wonderful. the food is very fusion friendly and the flavors are amazing. GO HERE.. but always make a reservation. ! ! View all feedback.
What NanciS doesn't like about Hickory Ash:
1st let me say our waiter, Cooper, was PHENOMENAL. Top notch service. I wasn't a fan of the food for the price they charge. We didn't like the non traditional lobster bisque (funky aftertaste) and the short ribs weren't fall of the bone tender. Other things were tasty for sure (we had the meat/cheese appetizer), but I expected a bit more refinery for the pricing.
An outstanding experience. Food was delicious. Our group had the pork chop, short ribs, and salmon carbonara. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about the details in the food, efficient and professional. Restaurant was lively but not too loud. Best restaurant experience I've had in years. Bravo!
My salmon was excellent. Had dinner in the banquet room with a group.
Food could be better. Service is excellent!! Atmosphere is nice maybe a little noisy. We liked it will come back.
One of the best filets I have encountered in a long time. Add the “butter, butter, more butter” mash potatoes which were AMAZING! Brussels sprout side was so good. Try the cocktails, too!
Overall, great experience. Parking is plentiful and nearby. Service excellent. Food was generally very good, but the double burger was almost impossible to eat because the innards kept slipping out between the bun halves. Fries were plentiful and good. Other dishes were excellent. Wedge salad was good, but expensive. Noise level was high, but we were win a booth, so OK.
