A bustling suburban breakfast-and-brunch favorite near Broomall/Newtown Square, this spotless, warmly decorated café draws weekend crowds for generous portions, standout baked goods (Jewish Apple Cake, apple-walnut pie, poundcake French toast) and wide gluten-free options. Staff are friendly and accommodating, with attentive takeout service and plentiful parking. Expect excellent pancakes, crispy scrapple and hearty brunch dishes, though service can be uneven at times and the kitchen closes early (2:30 PM), so plan to arrive before mid-afternoon.

This is a great place for a gluten free breakfast. I had the apple walnut French toast, fried eggs, ham, home fries and GF toast with jelly. It was all great, but the apple walnut French toast was the real standout. If you have Celiac disease and you'revisiting Philadelphia, this place is worth the trip.
I want to shout-out to Denise. I want to order a mix of waffle and French toast that's not on the menu, and she is able to put in my special request. On top of that, when I asked for a take out box for left over, she asked me if I want some coffee to gowith me, with NO additional charge! It's my 1st time dine in experience who offer take out coffee with no additional charge. SoI just tips her more to show I appreciation.
