It p... read more I have been going to Bistro 54 for over a year. It is located in an attractive heritage cottage with a very pleasant outlook onto the leafy street outside. It provides a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.  In winter, the cosy inner room has a warming fire. The staff, including the chefs are friendly, engaging and efficient. The food is excellent. It's creative, inviting, and appealing to the taste buds. There is also an excellent wine list with a good range of wines available by the glass.

Steve graciously kept the... read more We showed up quite hungry, a little before closing hoping to get some food to take back to our hotel after a long day of sightseeing. Steve graciously kept the restaurant open and served us some absolutely delicious food. We were pretty blown away by both the food and service here. He takes a lot of pride in his cooking and it shows. We were impressed with his vegetarian offerings and wished we could come back for a second round, but were leaving the next day.
