NYC rooftop views check! Breathtaking scenery at @westlightnyc with some new friends. Felt super blessed! My lavender cocktail was so good I was actually surprised because I don’t really like alcohol actually. The whole experience was really great andthe waitress was very nice and patient with us. Had such a great time watching the sunset and enjoying the nighttime view ofManhattan after dark. Would totally come back... View all feedback.
What OpenTable Diner dislikes about Westlight:
We were excited to return to this restaurant after having a wonderful experience there before. Unfortunately, we were disappointed when we arrived after a $50 Uber ride, only to be denied entry because my 11-year-old son wasn't allowed in after 6pm. This restriction was not mentioned on OpenTable, leaving us frustrated with both the reservation platform and Westlight. View all feedback.

Four friends and myself went here for dinner and drinks, was fantastic. The staff couldnt have been more accommodating, the food the drinks and especially the view were amazing. I will for sure come back in the summer
Unreal view has to be one of the best in the city. cocktails are also incredibly diverse and tasty
The restaurant was on the william vale hotel that I had not realized until we arrived. I went with my son on a Tuesday and rainy night, so the atmosphere was somewhat undermined. the roof terrace of the skyline of manhattan was wrapped in nebel, but must be fantastic in a clear night. we divided three appetizers empanadas, tempura bass buns, and garnelen knödel. all were delicious. size was modest some much space for large bite. I had the laughs, and I mean the ducks. both were very satisfying and beautifully prepared. the drinks were expensive, but the bartender made a great gimlet. I intend to bring my wife back for a date night.

The view: amazing, the food: delicious and the staff was great. We really enjoyed our time at the Westlight. Only thing to consider, make a reservation 'cause you only get 90 mins there. If you 're a walk in you get an hour.
If you are looking for a decent rooftop restaurant in Brooklyn, then I highly recommend Westlight. It is located on top of the William Vale hotel, and offers amazing views of the city. I liked the cozy atmosphere, especially when you go there at night. The service was good, but I was not overwhelmingly impress by the food (though it is decent). The Westlight burger was my favorite on their menu. I think it can be a great pick for a date night.
5 on 5 place. My friend recommended to go to westlight. We reserved the table in advance since its very hard to get the reservations here. Best part is, its located on the other side of the river in williamsburg), so the views of nyc skyline are crazy. Two floors one has a rooftop and other has a turf plus seating) Definitely one of a kind rooftops i have ever seen. A couple of bonus points: Very spacious, Huge cocktail menu, Sweeping views, Amazing location. Downside: Slow service, Okayish food . My fav drink was : the four winds. Its a must try rooftop.
I was recommended this restaurant by some friends during my visit to Brooklyn. I stopped by for drinks after dinner and was quite pleased with my experience. The service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. The highlight of the evening was definitely the view, but be sure to wear a coat if you go at night, as it can get quite windy up there. Also, don’t forget to make a reservation in advance, as they won’t allow you up without one.
We dined at the restaurant at 4 PM and had a fantastic experience. The service was exceptional, and both the food and drinks were delightful. The view of the water was breathtaking, making our time by the water extremely relaxing. The mix of music contributed to the wonderful atmosphere. This was our first visit, but we will certainly be returning!

Was a recommended spot from some of my friends when visiting Brooklyn. Came to the place after supper for drinks and was overall satisfied with my experience. The service was good and pricing a was a fair. Best part of the experience was the view though, would recommend bringing a coat if you plan on going at night, as it does get pretty windy up there. And also book ahead as theywon’t let you go up unless you have a reservation.
If you find yourself in Brooklyn and want to enjoy a delightful cocktail with a stunning city view at sunset, make sure to visit Westlight. We dropped by without a reservation and enjoyed a few drinks at the bar. The bartenders were welcoming, and the cocktails were exceptional. I highly recommend going during sunset to soak in the breathtaking view.
I had an amazing experience at Westlight NYC, where I enjoyed stunning rooftop views of New York City along with great company. I was surprised at how much I liked the lavender cocktail, especially since I usually don’t drink alcohol. The waitress was friendly and patient, which added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. Watching the sunset and soaking in the nighttime Manhattan skyline was truly unforgettable. I can't wait to go back to sample some of their entrees. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant!
During my visit to Brooklyn, some friends suggested I try this restaurant, so I went in the evening for drinks. Overall, it was a positive experience. The service was excellent, and the prices were fair. The best part was the breathtaking view, but I advise bringing a coat if you're going at night since it can get quite windy up there. Also, make sure to make a reservation in advance, as they do not accept walk-ins.

We began our meal by sharing three appetizers: empanadas, tempura bass buns, and shrimp dumplings, all of which were delightful. The portion sizes were just right, leaving us with plenty of room for more. For our main courses, I ordered the salmon while my son chose the duck tacos. Both dishes were satisfying and expertly prepared. Although the drinks were a bit pricey, the bartender made an outstanding gimlet. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and intend to come back with my wife for a date night.

Westlight is an absolute top 5 pick for best rooftop restaurant in NYC. With breathtaking views, delicious small plates, unique drinks, and one of the largest rooftop spaces you'll find in the 5 boroughs, Westlight is easily one of the best rooftop spots that you can find in NYC. The food was flavorful and appetizing, especially the jerk oxtail sliders!! To top it all off, the staff was simply amazing. Every single employee I encountered was not only courteous, attentive and knowledgeable, but just all-round wonderful people. And as if the glass-enclosed and terrace dining areas weren't great enough, they have a large open lawn a level above, that offers completely unobstructed views from all angles. Westlight is definitely a new addition to my favorites, and I'm eager to visit again soon!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $50–100
