A hidden gem that is dark and quiet, managing to endure through the ages. 10/10
I find bars that charge tax on their posted prices super hard to stomach. Is a $9 beer not enough?
Really cool spot for an after-work beer. I like to grab my kid and a pizza, and come hang here. The patio is a nice touch, although it can get pretty mosquito-infested during summer, like anywhere else.
Had a great time with friends recently. Quaint ale house in Prospect Heights. No frills. No food. Extensive beer list and bar fully stocked with top shelf options. We were served by KiKi, who ran the entire operations seamlessly — BY HERSELF! Would definitely return for more laughs, great convo over great beers! Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
