Description

Located on Brighton Beach in Coney Island, this charming restaurant offers an authentic taste of Russian cuisine amid stunning ocean views. With a welcoming atmosphere and shaded outdoor seating, it’s perfect for a summer respite. Diners enjoy the ease of navigating the menu on a tablet, while the delicious smoked fish platter and generous beer servings leave a positive impression. While the food is consistently praised for its freshness and taste, some guests express disappointment over a hidden 18% service fee for credit card payments. Overall, this casual eatery serves as a delightful stop for both locals and beachgoers alike.

Absolutely everything I was hoping for! The sea views and smoked fish were delightful. The cold beer was excellent as well! It was just perfect—pleasant, cheerful, and reasonably priced. The starter I had was well-sized and enjoyable. On my second visit, I couldn't resist the smoked fish platter served with brown bread. It was simply divine!

Food and service was good. Everything was tasty and fresh. This restaurant is not super fancy so don't expect anything outside of a decent meal and boardwalk access. I have been there several times for family dinners and never a problem.

If you are at Brighton Beach, you must rest your laurels here and take in some refreshment. On any summer's day, the shaded outdoor seating facing the ocean is lovely. The tasty food is enhanced by beers in liters. There is a good base of local customers peppered with the occasional beach comber wondering by. The mushroom fries were awesome!

Situated on Brighton Beach in Coney Island, directly facing the ocean, this restaurant offers a refreshing experience under a parasol, where you can enjoy the sea breeze. The menu is presented on a tablet for easy navigation. We only ordered drinks, so it's hard to evaluate the food, but the place has a charming, old-fashioned Russian restaurant vibe that feels very welcoming.
