great food, tasty and well done. service is fast and you can bring your own wine. we order several appetizer that were so delicious and provided so many different flavors. The tomato and avocado salad is so great and fresh. The pickled veggies salad is amazing too. we ordered the dumpling soup which was prepared with mint and definitely surprised us. Delicious Azerbaijani cuisine in a warm, homely atmosphere. The setting is relaxed and unpretentious, and the service is prompt. I highly recommend trying everything on the menu; every dish is incredibly tasty!
One of my fave places ever ! I go alone most of the time to truly enjoy and savor every bite. The host and team that serve you are wonderful from start to finish. Lastly, the price point? fantastic ! Hats off for Chef Sabir

Village Cafe was a true gem during my visit to New York! It's a bring-your-own-bottle place if you're looking to enjoy some wine. The food is simply outstanding! I had the pleasure of trying Azerbaijani cuisine for the first time, and I will definitely be seeking it out wherever I go from now on. The atmosphere is cozy and exudes an Eastern/Central European vibe. The service is friendly and efficient, yet they never rush you, allowing for a relaxing dinner with drinks without any stress. Overall, a fantastic restaurant!
