**Restaurant Review: A Mixed Bag of Experiences**
This local eatery presents both commendable and disappointing elements. While some meals, like the rotisserie chicken and cucumber salad, stand out for their flavor and generous portions, other dishes disappoint with lackluster seasoning and presentation. Customers have noted slow service, particularly during busy hours, and inconsistencies in food quality, with concerns over the authenticity of Dominican cuisine. Nevertheless, the restaurant boasts a clean environment and friendly staff, offering a welcoming atmosphere for casual dining. While it might not warrant a special trip, it serves as a solid choice for those in the neighborhood looking for comfort food.

The food here is good, and the owner maintains a very clean establishment. However, the staff can be a bit slow at times. Parking in this area is quite challenging. On the plus side, the J train is just 100 feet away, and the Q24 and Q56 bus lines are within walking distance. While it may not be worth a special trip, the food is budget-friendly, though it may not be the best option available.
I just moved to the neighborhood and was a little hesitant to order food at this place. Thank God I finally decided to step in and order a simple plate of rice, maduros, and chicken breast and beans. The food was so damn delicious. And it was a huge portion. I swear I almost teared from happiness. Definitely gonna be my new go to spot
Hello, I'd rather not speak negatively about a business, but I feel compelled to share my experience. I ordered a baked chicken combo, and I politely informed the young lady who served me that I work in a restaurant. I asked her not to serve me the baked chicken if it was leftover from the previous day because that really matters to me. Unfortunately, I was told that the chicken was fresh, but I suspect it was from the day before. Such misrepresentation can seriously hurt a restaurant's reputation. I hope they take this feedback seriously, as I wouldn't want others to have the same experience.
