they are a great introduction to veganism. I enjoy the burger, jackfruit, but honestly the first meal I had was a soup. I said if I could eat, I could go vegan. the atmosphere invites so great to the midday. I would suggest the fried cauliflower, burger and the fries! View all feedback.

I ordered two waffle sandwiches for $37, which were overpriced and tasted horrible. The best part of the sandwich was the arugula. If you choose a waffle sandwich, it costs $5 more. Unfortunately, my waffle was burnt, altering the taste completely. My partner's waffle was only slightly burnt but tasted better than mine. I realized that SoulKofa Vegan at 235 Ralph, which is closer to where I live, has better service, prices, and quality if you are looking for an alternative in the area. The lighting in the restaurant is poor and the customer service is extremely cold. I have never been to a vegan restaurant where I wasn't greeted with smiles and good energy. The overall food service was disappointing, and the vegan burger wasn't even that good compared to others I have had.

It’s a bummer because I really wanted to love this place after @veganbodegacat suggested it on IG, and it’s so close to my house. I don’t like to write bad reviews because I’m an industry person and I know a lot of restaurants can just have bad days but this place has just continued to disappoint
I ordered from here through Uber eats. Seen this place months ago and was itching to try it. Blandest food ever. The jackfruit nachos were okay, but just a bit more seasoning would have bumped it up to pretty good. But the cowgirl burger was mushy and flavorless. The mac and cheese was dry and very bland; no moisture or sauce whatever. Absolutely NO seasoning, herbs or spices in this food. Waste of money. Don't know if the cooks weren't feeling it that day, and I don't want to bash a business. But what I got was that bad.
The staff here was really great, friendly and quick. I also appreciate how fast everything was ready. I will say that the food is lacking in texture and the flavors seem to mush together. I ordered a vegan burger, and while the patty was delicious, I couldn 't tell where patty ended and the rest of the burger began. There wasn 't any complexity of flavors or textures, it was just all one mushy (but yummy) mess. The soup I had was good too, but again, too much tomato flavor. Couldn 't really taste anything but the tomato broth. I feel like a burger should be anchored by the main event of the patty but the supporting elements of crispy veggies and tangy dressings should definitely be there too! Overall good food. I was satisfied, but not blown away.
I only got four things. The fried cauliflower was the best I've ever had, the kale salad was great, the thin fries were the best I've ever had, and the Bahni sandwich was fine, but only because I don't like eggplant. I'm excited to try everything that's on the menu...

Stars for the great housemade burger patty. So nice to have a veggie burger that 's not trying to be meat! Sadly I have to agree with the reviews saying that Toad Style has tanked over the past couple years. The menu understandably shrunk amidst the pandemic and never recovered, leaving behind banh mi sandwiches, philly cheese steaks, gyros, deep fried cauliflower, and my favorite fries in the neighborhood. And the fried foods are apparently so sorely missed that they 've had to put up a sign saying they 're no longer available because people keep asking. Service is usually quick when in-person, though I always call ahead to avoid prolonged time with the cook who ran through the middle of the intersection at Ralph and Putnam who I yelled at for making me slam on the brakes while he sauntered past the don 't walk signal. Cringey for all involved.
What a cool name so I had to stop by. The two workers I saw were friendly and inviting. The interior is small with high top bench seating for a few people and a waiting area with a bench in the front. I ordered two items, the California burger and the Greek salad. The bun on the burger was soft and fresh, the patty was a unique blend unlike any plant based burger I've ever eaten EXTRAORDINARY! I wish I lived closer because this burger was phenomenal. The. Avocado and sweet mustardy sauce with a slight kick of spiciness finished off the masterpiece of this burger. The Greek salad was good. It has lettuce, kale, olives, cherry tomatoes, red peppers, and it is topped with a crumble. The crumble on top lacked the acidic bite one gets from feta cheese, and just seemed lacking something, possible a pinch of salt? Overall I am satisfied with my meal and very happy to have taken a chance with this place. The burger alone is worth the trip.
I am addicted to jackfruit bbq : it is always ready very quickly and always perfect. I also love the caesar salad. and the avocado toast is the only one in the neighborhood that is priced at what it should be!! <3 thank u toad styleFood: 5/5

So good. I am blessed to be here recurring customer. they have valid prices, fast service and above all, delicious vegan food. I always go for them.
Toad style opened, as a vegan junk food was still filled as oxymoron, at least for the omnipresent normies, the veganism with macro bowls.
Toad style was amazing. on my visit to nyc I was in many of the plant-based options available to me. toad style was 12 minutes to walk from the place I was in brooklyn. I have crocheted with my friend in these little corners, which offers a solid, home-style menu. jackfruit nachos sunken burger buffalo blumenkohl quesadilla we ate in the house and had some skillful limonaden that were too good. the nachos were delicious. the creamy cheese they have made for it is too good. my absolute favorit was the sunkenburger. my god, that's a good burger. it was perfect fusion of taste. I really wanted to get another one. the aromen in the quesadilla were great, sincere we were not too fond of preparation of flower cauliflower. I assume it is cooked then pan sautéed, which is not too flattering in cheesy and flimsy quesadilla. Perhaps a more rigorous style of embossing the cauliflower is more attractive. still we enjoyed it. even finished the queensadilla as left over the next day. great spot.
Eating was not well done what I expected as it seemed as if teenagers prepared our meals. we ordered several items, but the most memorable.
