Being from Chicago we have high standards for food. So far NY restaurants have been hit/miss. This one definitely was a hit. Service is very friendly, food was bangin. We had curry chicken and jerk chicken, it was amazing. Jerk chicken was spicy so beware it’s got a kick to it. And tried ox tail for the first time ever. Def would have it again
This place has some great food. We ordered a few items, and some were better than others. The service was okay. For some reason, our food arrived later than that of those who came after us. We had ordered before them too, so I can't say how the kitchen functions.Out of all the dishes, we liked the curry goat and oxtail the most.
My heart and stomach are very happy! I was in the neighborhood and was craving j chicken and oxtail. Since I don't have any delicious Jamaican spots where I live, it's a rare treat to be able to eat all this goodness. I ordered takeout from here and am so happy with the quality and the quantity. The j chicken was fall off the bone and the seasoning was perfect. Not too spicy but packed a lot of flavors. The same goes for the oxtail. The rice and peas with vegetables seemed standard and complemented the main meats. The mac and cheese was alright but wouldn't necessarily get it again. Maybe it was an off night for the mac and cheese.Sure, it's more expensive than other places but it was worth it. The restaurant is large, the staff seemed polite and the place looked clean. I probably could've gone to a hole-in-a-wall spot but risk not having oxtail available or having to deal with sketchy service. No, thank you. I would definitely go back to dine in and try some other dishes.
Such a Delightful Experience for my family. We thoroughly enjoyed it Our Host That Guy Jahmar Top Teir Attentive On Point Smooth such a delight I must mention we were a party of 8 his Attention 2 detail with out a mistake is definitely commendable he made the Experience even better . Wish all my outstandings for dinner ran this smooth . But the food was great as usual definitely a good choice
