Unlike typical American dining, the food at The Norm is light on heavy oils and delivers a delightful taste experience. The carefully prepared and marinated fish, paired with a tender chicken salad seasoned with fresh, nutty flavors and unexpected crunches, makes for a perfect complement to an evening spent with friends or loved ones in the restaurant’s intimate and stylish setting. If you're in the mood for large steaks and hefty portions, The Norm's menu may not meet your expectations. However, for what it does offer, The Norm is a hidden gem in the lobby of the Brooklyn Museum, providing a five-star dining experience just waiting to be discovered.

Nice place to have lunch when visiting the wonderful Brooklyn museum. Food is nothing special, in fact a little tasteless and boring. Staff were friendly, efficient and helpful.

The decor is simple yet pleasant. The staff is friendly and attentive. There's a limited but well-chosen selection. The Italian sorbet is divine. The food is generally light but satisfying. It is a bit on the pricey side.

Whenever I visit the Brooklyn Museum, I like to eat here. The portions are quite generous, and the food is decent. However, it can get very crowded at times, making it difficult to relax.
