Contribute FeedbackTaiki offers an 8-course dinner with lackluster appetizers and disappointing pacing. However, the sushi and sashimi stand out. The staff receives mixed reviews, some finding them helpful, while others criticize the service. The ambiance is serene and intimate, perfect for special occasions. The omakase happy hour is a hit with delicious food and excellent service. The restaurant's knowledgeable staff, fresh fish, and diverse menu make it a standout in Brooklyn's dining scene. Overall, Taiki offers an authentic omakase experience at an affordable price, making it a hidden gem for sushi lovers seeking quality options in New York City.
The restaurant offers excellent quality dishes, falls on the expensive side, but considering it's Omakase, it is reasonably priced.
The food at this restaurant was exceptional in all aspects - from preparation and quality to presentation and taste.
This sushi is truly exceptional and could easily hold its own in Tokyo, not to mention Brooklyn. It's a hidden gem.
I returned to Taiki for the first time in about 5 years and it's gotten nothing but better! My girlfriend also was wowed by the food and ambiance. And we chatted with Taiki himself, as master chef who was quite friendly and charming. Great experience and we will be back!
Loved food, service and ambience and separate plating if 12 piece omakase.
