This restaurant is relatively new, having opened just a few months ago, and the owner, Antonio, hails from Guerrero, Mexico. He is not only friendly but also an excellent cook who pours a lot of love and care into both the ambiance and the menu. While the restaurant isn’t 100% vegetarian, Antonio is very mindful of dietary restrictions and offers a clearly labeled vegan menu. I particularly enjoyed the homemade cocon... View all feedback.
What Alessandra Delacruz doesn't like about Taco Zone:
This restaurant is a must-know, especially for vegans! They offer an entire page of vegan options. You have to try the Quesadilla—it’s like a delicious cross between a quesadilla and a hard-shell taco. I’m also so grateful that they have tofu on the menu! View all feedback.
The size of the serving was just right, and the food was amazing!
This place is new (only a few months old! , and the owner, Antonio, who is from Guerrero, Mexico, is friendly, a great cook, and he has just put a lot of love and care into this space, its menu, and the food items. The restaurant is not 100% veggie, but the owner is completely aware of dietary restrictions, and has a clearly marked Vegan menu, and his homemade coconut-cheese (on the enchiladas, with salsa verde was truly wonderful! This is one of the relatively few places in NYC that has great vegan Mexican options. Highly recommended! It 's only a few steps from Sunset Park, and anytime I am there, I eat here!
I wanted to give it 5 stars but Happy Cow doesn’t allow it for restaurants that aren’t 100% vegan. But this one has delicious and multiple vegan options, very well labeled. Great food, recommend it!
I ordered the chorizo burrito, and it was absolutely delicious. They offer a wide variety of vegan options, and I can't wait to try the rest!
The portion size was just perfect, and the meal was incredible!
