Stone Park Cafe - Brooklyn
Stone Park Cafe
Description
Stone Park Cafe is a beloved restaurant in Park Slope that has offered consistently delicious food and great service in the past. However, recent experiences have left some customers disappointed. Issues ranging from poorly prepared drinks, uninspired food, overpriced bread, lackluster service, having to eat outside during a tropical storm due to vaccination card rules, and salty dishes have detracted from the overall dining experience for some. Despite these setbacks, the restaurant is still praised for its cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and tasty menu items like Braised Beef Short Rib and Pumpkin Tiramisu. While some feel the restaurant is overrated and a bit overpriced, others still consider it a go-to spot for good food and a nice ambiance.

We have eaten at Stone Park many time and always enjoyed the food and the service. We chose this restaurant to have dinner with close friends, because we have never had a bad dinner there. This time was different, the drinks were not well prepared, my husband sent his back to be remixed. The food was so so, as if the chef was totally uninspired. The $7.00 for 4 slices of bread, $2.00 more if you want butter instead of olive oil, is totally outrageous. No no matter the quality of the bread. Our espressos were served old. It will be a while before we return.
Revered local restaurant in Park Slope. Excellent meals. As with all restaurants right now everywhere it was pricey...but that was expected. The host was amazingly friendly and courteous and our server was top notch, friendly and professional. Warm and low noise atmosphere with a incredibly friendly staff.
The food is great, staff were friendly, the sunroom was really hot …a small fan could be a game changer. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
