This place is fantastic! We highly recommend making reservations, as it tends to attract a large crowd. The food is exquisite—delicious, delicate, artistic, beautiful, subtle, yet robust. You'll encounter a wide array of flavors. We tried the half chicken and the steak, and they were both outstanding.

The food here is outstanding—everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The flavors, the balance, and the thoughtfulness behind each dish really stand out and enhance the overall dining experience. We were fortunate to have a lovely conversation with the owner and chef, who took the time to explain our selections and their flavor profiles (I may have called her a genius at least four times!). It was a truly exceptional experience. They update the menu seasonally, so I can’t wait to come back in the spring. We didn’t even get to see the dessert menu, but that saffron ice cream is definitely tempting me!

Authentic Persian food with a very well crafted menu. The food tastes great in here and is somewhat modern representation of some traditional Persian dishes. Their cocktail menu, however, is rather new and crafted with some unique Persian ingredients.

I celebrated my birthday at Sofreh this year and I was so incredibly blown away. Living in nyc it’s very difficult to find authentic amazing Iranian food. I love the bathroom of course, couldn’t be more iconic. Definitely want to go back and try more menu items. Ended up buying the cook book from the chef. Let’s see if I can make dishes as amazing. Love this place! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Service was very helpful and accommodating thanks to Caitlin ! Backyard seating was great and space inside was pretty too. We were group of 3 and ordered a bunch of apps because my friends are vegetarian so missed out on the more popular meat dishes, but next time I guess. I would definitely recommend this place for drinks: « sekanjabin martini » was very refreshing and I liked the mint cucumber sharbat as well. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
