The Dumbo location has a great setting, but it can be quite noisy due to the brick walls and hard surfaces. The service was excellent and came out quickly, thanks to a very attentive waiter. terrible experience. we arrived for Sunday brunch, the restaurant was empty. very strange for a brunch place in dumbo. we came especially benedikt on her lobster, but after he had sat us, the waiter gave us the memu and we ordered the drinks. when he came back to take our order, I asked for lobster benedicts and he was as sorry that we no longer have lobster. very strange for an empty restaurant. but even crazy, the... The place was not heated and cold. We had to put back our jackets which we re moved on arrival. The food was grotesque. portions were large, dishes filled with inedible food. The worst mashed potatoes ever, , unhealthy fried squash . the Brussel sprouts hard and not well cooked The pollock was fresh but a piece of fresh fish sitting on a mount of defective mashed potatoes and other unappealing food without a sauce to fix some of the problems . does not help turning things around. We asked for a cup of soup which is priced on the website at $10.00. We were billed $15 which was the price for a bowl of soup. on. the menu in house. The waiter was helpful and service was quick, Not surprisingly. There were three guests beside us. No espresso served in this restaurant. We had to go to a close StarBucks. Finally the environment. It is like a Fishermen restaurant sitting on a Mediterranean Island with a very cheap decoration and furniture which does. not bother me if the food was good. But when you add all other elements I could say that this was one of the worst meals I had in my entire life.
Terrible service, old eating, overpriced, soggy torch pizza
Although we previously explained that we wanted to sit on the window, the dame took us to another place at the entrance when I said we wanted to go to that side when it is empty, others went back. that is disappointing
The service was in order until the waiter had a tip of 40 dollars on a bill of 100 dollars. I think that's very rude to ask, but he didn't let me choose.
Our first experience a year ago was underwhelming. Our service was slow and she seemed to care less. This year we decided to give it a second chance and had a similar experience. We had reservations and tried to go 2 hours sooner around 4:30 and the manager acted like we were putting him out by asking to come sooner to the very empty restaurant. Then proceeded to ask if we’d be done in 2 hours. They switched servers on us mid meal and only saw the second guy for the check. Our waters were empty the entire dining experience and overall will not be back in the future.
