Saraghina, located in Bed-Stuy, offers a unique experience with a mix of Italian-inspired bakery items and delicious pastries. While some customers have noted issues with COVID protocols and unexpected encounters with mice, others have praised the quality of the food and friendly staff. Vegan options may be limited, but the focus on pastries, croissants, and bread has won over many loyal customers. Whether you're looking for a cozy spot for coffee and pastries or a tasty pizza from their brick oven, Saraghina has something for everyone. So, if you're in the neighborhood, be sure to stop by and try their famous mandel kroissant or the flavorful smoked salmon and mascarpone on brioche. Just be prepared to arrive early, as they tend to sell out quickly on weekends.

Was Hsin Yi Wei at Saraghina Pizzeria a mag?
While searching for the best almond croissant in the area, we discovered Saraghina Bakery. The decor is charming and cozy, though the space is quite narrow and only accommodates a maximum of four people at a time, with no indoor seating available. The selection of pastries was somewhat limited, but we decided to try the almond croissant, a scone, and a bag of granola. Everything was incredibly delicious, especially t... View all feedback.
What Angel Ceccoli dislikes about Saraghina Pizzeria:
Decided to try this spot with friends, I got the prosciutto pizza. It was very thin, flimsy pizza. I don’t want to say slimy but it that could have been left a little longer in the oven for my personal taste, and totally not worth $20. The highlight for me was the focaccia appetizer and the sauce it comes with it. View all feedback.
Lovely little spot, nice atmosphere and friendly servers. The pizza tasted amazing. They even have Mexican coke here.
My friend lives in the area and has been many times so I was excited to try this place. We waited for about 5-10 minutes at the bar before we were seated in the back patio. I was glad we sat outside since the air conditioning was way too cold for when we were inside. We both ordered the mezcal margaritas, they were really good and refreshing. We ordered the burrata, Truffle Cacio e pepe and the ricotta ravioli. I was not very impressed with the burrata which sat on top of rhubarb and pistachio but I loved the bread that came with it. They have a bakery and bake the breads in house. The truffle cacio e pepe pasta was delicious and very filling. I tried my friend's ravioli and I thought it was fine but nothing special. The pizza looked very good so I'll definitely try that if I'm back in the area.
This place is super close to my apartment and I've always wanted to check it out! What intrigued me the most was that all their pizza options can be made gluten free and vegan which is music to my dietarily restricted ears. Although I didn't eat in and just ordered to go, I really enjoyed my experience. The staff was super friendly and welcoming and took their time explaining the menu items to me. I ended up ordering the margherita pizza which was pretty affordable for the size (although they do charge extra for gluten free and vegan swaps...oh well! . They told me it would be a 15-20min wait so I went back to my apt and right at the 20min mark, they had it ready for me. Now let's talk about the pizza. OMG. So freaking good. Like they are seriously not playing around here and even with it being vegan gluten free, they did not compromise on the quality. I can easily see this becoming a go to pizza spot for me. Overall I highly, highly recommend!
Great atmosphere, but seating is a bit tight and really small tables. The appetizer was amazing, and the rest of the meal was good. The service was not wonderful. We only saw our waiter when he took our order. No one ever came back to refill our drinks. It was a busy night but I was not impressed with the service.
The tapas are delish. My favorite cocktail is the Franccesco.
