Gruffly seated and then ignored by every server, e... read more Devastatingly disappointing. Reserved a table for our anniversary at on a Friday night. Arrived bang on time. Gruffly seated and then ignored by every server, employee, and I believe, even the owner. Of course I cannot confirm after minutes of complete invisibility, we decided to depart and divert to a most enjoyable experience a short walk away at Gentleman Farmer.

The owner was present and very welcoming, even going out of his way to open the front door for us and help us find our reservation. However, I would advise against going near closing time. We had a 9:45 reservation (the restaurant closes at 11) and it felt a bit dull. It wasn't as lively as we had hoped, and we were seated next to a noisy group of ladies who were laughing and talking loudly throughout our dinner. Our waitress disappeared for over 20 minutes, while the women next to us were getting multiple visits and even received complimentary shots, which we weren't offered. The food was fantastic, with generous portions and strong drinks. We may have just picked the wrong night at the wrong time. Since it's in our neighborhood, we are willing to give it another try!

Af... read more I went to Samui during #EatThaiVisitThai Restaurant Week expecting to receive the special price advertised on OpenTable, but the restaurant did not honor it. After receiving conflicting information from 3 different waitstaff members, I asked to speak to the manager. The manager listened to my concerns about the long drive my group took to try their food, but when she spoke to the owner, he began to lie and backtrack on his statements. When I mentioned leaving a negative review, the owner accused us of trying to blackmail them for a discount. Shocked and disappointed, we decided to leave. I do not recommend this restaurant and will not be returning. Their business practices are horrendous.
